This was our second visit to Angkor and our second time driving around with Phat. Travelling with a tuk-tuk is the best way to see Angkor - every morning Phat was there to meet us at our guesthouse, his tuk-tuk with it's little green cool box - full with ice cold water and even colder disposable wet wipes - at the ready. Phat could always suggest an itinerary for us, and was just a fountain of knowledge in general - after being driving his tuk-tuk around Angkor for 11 years, he knows the best times to visit each temple, the best photo spot, the quietest place. More than this, Phat is just a lovely person, considerate, paying great attention to detail and always trying to make things as easy as possible for us. The temples are stupendous, but the best times with Phat were when he was showing us 'real' life - taking us to visit his village, or to the local market. I am solo lady traveler just returned from my first trip to Cambodia on 15th-25th of August with my family. I was lucky to have engaged the services of Phat from Siem Reap. Phat Sok made all the difference to my first week to south coach by pick up touting border Poi pet. then battambang, Pusat, Phnom Penh, Tree night, Kampot Kep, Rabbit Island, Takoe Province Angkor Buri, Phumda, Zoo of Ta Moa, Batti temples, back in Siem Reap, Koh Ker, Kampong Thom, Sambo Prei Kuh, we head to Kratie dolphin, it a nice drive through Mekong road met nice person look pleasant able when we they stopped seem know that we need their help we wondering Phat said No asked any thing to help? Phat is smoothing the small things I had over looked; such as how to get my mobile phone and internet to work in BB for Wouter. He knows all the best places to eat and the local food is delicious. let us choose a lovely place for me to stay and he knew the best times of the day to see the all the sights. Phat was always reliable punctual and a careful driver with chilled drinks or an umbrella ready depending on my needs. What more could you ask for. I was so impressed with Phat I changed my travel plans and employed him for an extended tour around Cambodia with family, Wouter Victor van Dijk, Alexander Victor Marie van Dijk, Nicole Gabrielle Marie van Dooren our daughter Leono we are The Netherlands. , where thanks to Phat, I was able to see and do things most tourists could only dream of.
